We are excited to announce the line up of this year’s festival. You don’t want to miss these unique performances by some of the most influential artists in Central America.
We will enjoy the voice and songs of the great Álvaro Aguilar, leader of the legendary Guatemalan rock band “Alux Nahual” which is without a doubt, the most revered and influential band in Central America’s music history.
From Costa Rica, singer songwriter Manuel Monestel, author and researcher of the Limonense Calypso has helped to surface to the world the traditions of the Limon province in North Costa Rica.
The marimba music from the southern border of Nicaragua and Costa Rican province of Guanacaste will be represented by Yareni Briceño, young marimba player with an ample experience in traditional music ensembles, who currently resides in Sweden.
Salvadoran virtuoso guitarist, Jaime Varela performing his original songs; also from El Salvador singer-songwriters Teresita and Mauricio Callejas will be playing with a live band of talented Central American musicians, featuring Costa Rican pianist Esteban Alvarez.
Framed by beautiful scenes from small towns of Honduras, Nahun Escoto and the Honduras Nativo project will delight the audience with dances and traditions from Honduras.
